Key Responsibilities:-

General Ledger & Month-End Close

• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts
• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper coding
• Perform month-end close activities
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure accruals and prepayments are properly recorded

Financial Statements & Reporting

• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements
• Prepare management reports and analysis
• Support annual audit and statutory reporting
• Ensure MFRS compliance in financial reporting
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations (if applicable)

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Oversee accounts payable processing
• Review and approve payment runs
• Monitor accounts receivable aging
• Support billing and collections activities
• Manage vendor relationships and setup

Fixed Assets & Inventory

• Maintain fixed asset register
• Calculate and record depreciation
• Perform asset verification and reconciliation
• Ensure proper capitalization policies

Payroll Compliance & Benefits Administration

• Maintain accurate staff records, payroll data and documentation
• Process monthly payroll, claims & statutory submission for all employees in a timely manner
• Prepare EA forms and year-end tax documentation
• Handle and respond to employee payroll-related queries
• Administration of employee benefits enrolment (e.g. Insurance)
• Maintain accurate staff records, payroll data and documentation

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with internal controls
• Support external and internal audits
• Maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Identify process improvement

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years in accounting or finance roles
• ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
• Strong understanding of MFRS, Malaysian regulatory requirements and payroll regulations
• Experience with full accounting cycle
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks preferred)
• Organized, Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
• Proactive problem solver, Integrity and professional ethics
• Audit firm background a plus
