Company Description

Mind Care Clinic is a specialized mental health center dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, adults and older adults. The clinic provides evidence-based assessments, treatment and interventions, and counseling services in collaboration with families, schools, and community partners. Interdisciplinary teams work together to address educational, behavioral, and psychological needs in a holistic and person-centered way. Mind Care Clinic emphasizes ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and a supportive environment for both patients and clinicians. 

Role Description The Educational Psychologist will work on-site in Singapore in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to assess and support the learning, cognitive, and emotional needs of children, adolescents, and adults. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological and educational assessments, interpreting test results, and developing individualized intervention and support plans for clients in educational or community settings. The role involves providing consultations to families, caregivers, and educators, recommending strategies to address learning difficulties, behavioral challenges, and emotional concerns. The Educational Psychologist will also contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and participate in outreach, psychoeducation, and program development to enhance mental health and educational outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or a closely related field
  • Full registration under SPS
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational and cognitive assessments, including WISC, WIAT, Conner's, Vineland, ADOS/ADI-R.
  • Experience providing psychotherapeutic support to patients and families.


Other relevant skills/experience:

  • Warm, engaging communication
  • Excellent report-writing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
  • Prior experience in school-based services, special education settings, or clinical child and adolescent work is an advantage.
