About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager – Contract Logistics to drive new business growth and expand our contract logistics portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key customers, and working closely with operations teams to develop customized logistics and supply chain solutions that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and develop new clients and business opportunities within the contract logistics and supply chain sector.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
• Understand customer requirements and develop customized warehousing, distribution, and contract logistics solutions.
• Prepare business proposals, commercial quotations, pricing models, and tender responses.
• Lead commercial negotiations and secure favorable agreements with customers.
• Collaborate closely with operations, solutions design, finance, and other internal teams to develop commercially viable logistics solutions.
• Manage the complete business development cycle from lead generation and prospecting through negotiation and contract closure.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts and business updates.
• Achieve agreed sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Contribute to the company's overall business growth and expansion strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration , or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Commercial roles within the logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or contract logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management, contract logistics, warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations .
• Proven track record in new client acquisition, business development, and sales growth.
• Strong understanding of solution selling and the ability to translate customer requirements into practical logistics solutions.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a target-driven and performance-oriented environment .
