Major Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational functions and processes of production and cleaning teams
• Deliver solid skills in aspects of safety and quality; ensure and maintain workflow and production plants in hygiene and safety standards
• Participate in HACCP, ISO22000, ISO9001, FSSC 22000 & ISO14001 programmes
• Formulate and monitor production schedules and forecasts while collaborating across departments to maximize operational efficiency and ensure 100% on-time delivery
• Identify, plan and implement improvement initiatives to enhance products quality and maximise productivity
• Engage in planning and implementation of manufacturing strategies, process and cost efficiency, inventory control, budget forecast and control
• Support the project of Re-industrialisation Funding Scheme (RFS) for plant automation programmes to ensure both suppliers and consultant are deliverable on time
• Demonstrate best practices; Lead, coach and motivate team members for accomplishing missions and targets

Requirements

• Degree holder in Manufacturing or Food Science & Technology or related discipline
• Min. 10 years of working experience, 5 years of which at supervisory level
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing field is preferrable
• Solid knowledge in quality and hygiene system is an advantage
• Sound communication and presentation skills with good analytical and resourceful skills
• Able to work under pressure, proactively and independently
• Good team leader and team player
