Role Description The Automotive Technician role at SISMA Auto is a full-time, on-site position based in Kuala Lumpur. The technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, and carrying out scheduled maintenance services to ensure all vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting oil changes, brake and suspension checks, and general automotive repairs, as well as documenting work performed in service reports. The role involves collaborating with service advisors, following manufacturer guidelines, using diagnostic tools and equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe workshop environment. The technician is expected to provide accurate repair estimates, communicate clearly with team members, and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance, routine Maintenance & Repair, and general Automotive Repair.
• Proficiency in performing Oil Changes and related fluid checks with attention to detail and safety.
• Hands-on experience with Suspension inspection, diagnosis, and repair.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in automotive technology or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic results.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment.
• Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
• Prior experience in an automotive service center is preferred; familiarity with modern diagnostic tools is an advantage.
