Our client, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading organizations is looking for:

Project Engineer

Responsibilities:
Review project related submission (specification, drawing, test procedure and method statement etc.) and facilitate project team in the following-up to ensure the submission is compliant with project requirement;

Supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning, interfacing matters, integration testing, punchlist/defect work and handover activity to ensure the quality of work is compliant with project requirement;

Coordinate with project team, contractors, interfacing contractors and other project stakeholders to resolve site issues and clashes to ensure the work is in line with project requirement;

Facilitate project team to monitor the project schedule, update, review and report the project progress to be in line with project timeline;

Attend project related meetings to ensure project delivery is on track;

Supervise site surveys, FO routing verification, cable installation, network equipment installation and testing and commissioning activities;

Facilitate resolution of site constraints, routing conflicts, FO core allocation issues and implementation-related technical matters;

Support the troubleshooting and resolution of network equipment configuration issues, communication failures, network connectivity issues and system integration issues encountered during installation, testing, commissioning and migration activities.

Requirements:
Recognised diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer, Network, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline;

Relevant project management experience

At least 3 years in project coordination, site installation, testing and commissioning of rail E&M system, communications network or fibre optic infrastructure in Singapore transit environment

Relevant experience in coordinating and interfacing with local transit stakeholders (i.e. railway/transit operator) to carry out A&A, system upgrading or new system implementation work at revenue stations; and

Familiarity with Permit-to-Work (PTW), Mod Approval, engineering access procedures and stakeholder coordination in railway environments would be an advantage

Be expected to perform night work or engineering-hours work where required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, BIM or similar drawing tools for design drawing review
