About us:

The Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home is a residential Home for boys between the ages of 5 and 18. The Home is run by the Ramakrishna Mission within its premises. The residents go to local schools and return to the Home. The Home takes care of their needs and works towards reintegration with the family.

The Care Staff is part of a team of Care Givers in aresidential setting (Secular Home) for boys and youths.

The key responsibilities are to work in close liason withthe Head of Home and the clinical team to:

1) Form secure attachments/bons with the residents.

2) Provide guidance for positive behaviour

3) Inculcate good habits and values amongst the residents.

4) Meet the needs of residents and monitor their progress.

5) Work with a team of Care Staff within the Home to providea safe and nurtuing enviornment for the residents to develop.

6) Must seek to respond in a calm manner when residents areexhibiting difficult behaviour.

7) Provide updates on residents' daily school going needsand advise the team and stake holders.

As we are a residential home, care staff are expected to work shifts and some weekends and public holidays.

Persons with qualifications beyond diploma and keen to serve children and youth are also invited.
