Job Summary

Join Conquest Design Group as an Accounts Assistant to manage financial transactions, support monthly closings, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced interior design environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and process supplier payments to maintain smooth financial operations
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with monthly financial closing and prepare reports to support management decision-making
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely collections
• Process staff claims accurately and in compliance with company policies
• Maintain organized filing and accounting documentation for easy retrieval and audit readiness
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on finance-related matters, excluding client liaison
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team to enhance operational efficiency

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or LCCI in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Experience in the interior design industry is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero or similar
• Strong attention to detail demonstrated by accurate financial record-keeping
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple finance tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and suppliers
• Fresh graduates with a positive attitude are welcome to apply
