Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Linux Engineer with strong expertise in Linux systems, network security, firewall technologies, and infrastructure deployment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and supporting secure Linux-based environments and enterprise network security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, implement, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems and network security infrastructure.
• Manage and support RHEL, NixOS, GUIX, and Immutable OS environments.
• Implement and maintain firewall and security solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot stateful firewalls, nftables, security zoning, and network segmentation.
• Support Routing & Switching (L2) environments.
• Work with enterprise firewall platforms including Cisco, FortiGate, Check Point, and Palo Alto.
• Perform system and network security hardening, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on deployment and implementation activities.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of relevant Linux Engineering experience
• Strong Linux OS administration and troubleshooting
• Hands-on deployment/implementation experience
• Routing & Switching (L2)
• Enterprise firewall experience with one or more of:
• Cisco
• FortiGate
• Check Point
• Palo Alto
• nftables
• Stateful Firewall concepts
• Network security and zoning/segmentation
• Experience with Linux-based infrastructure
