Mechanical Service Technician (A Chiller Compressor/HVAC Mechanical Service Experience)

Job overview

We are looking for a reliable, self-assured service technician to perform maintenance, repairs and service on a variety of engineering service for our clients.

As a part of the job role, you should be able to work on both, land and sea. You will be required to be physically and mentally strong and highly motivated, self-discipline and should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out various repair and maintenance tasks as instructed by the team leader and engineers who you are assign to work at the job sites.

• Responsible and disciplined in handling, operating, and maintaining workshop tools and equipment. To be ready mobilized and deployed at any time, as required..

• Fill out accurate service records and repair documents as instructed by the team leader/engineers.

• Safety Compliance, Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulation including lockout / tagout procedures, while working in plant rooms or outdoor environments.     

Requirements:

• Experience in HVAC/Chiller maintenance is an advantage, but candidates with basic knowledge are welcome. Training shall be provided.

• Willing to work beyond regular and long hours if required.

• Good physical dexterity and mental stamina.

• Detailed – Self oriented and highly motivated individual, proactive and keen to expand knowledge, skills and accept constructive feedback.

• Good communication skills.

• Practical knowledge and experience with common tools/equipment used in General Mechanical maintenance preferred.
