We have been mandated by a leading financial services institution to hire a Legal Counsel supporting corporate trustee, pension, and fiduciary services across a broad range of regulated products. Your new role

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, transaction documents, and legal agreements.
• Advise on investment products, trust structures, and regulated business activities.
• Partner with business teams to manage legal risks and support strategic initiatives.
• Track regulatory developments and provide practical legal guidance to stakeholders.
• Enhance legal processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
• Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and industry stakeholders as needed.
• Support corporate governance, due diligence, and other business-critical projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• 2-6 years' PQE, ideally within financial services, corporate trust, pensions, or investment-related sectors.
• Experience in commercial contracts, corporate advisory, and legal risk management.
• Prior team leadership or stakeholder management experience preferred.
• Strong drafting, communication, and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Hong Kong qualified lawyer preferred.
