As an Ocean Export Executive, the incumbent is responsible for handling ocean export operations like documentation, shipment coordination, booking arrangements, customs-related matters, and customer communication while ensuring shipments are processed accurately and within required deadlines.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute Ocean export operations from A to Z.

Liaise with customers on their requirements and ensure operations are executed in accordance with the requirements.

Responsible for maintaining the documentation for the company’s Export activities

Responsible for the permit declaration and BL transport documents required

Responsible for Export documentation formalities with carriers & Co-loaders

Responsible for the handling of shipments, ensuring that any of the customer’s inquiries are answered

In charge of liaising with the company’s vendors/suppliers for export shipments

In charge of the preparation of billing invoices and performing invoice verification when required

Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline

Good working knowledge of MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word

Minimum 3 years working of experience in ocean freight forwarding operations

Knowledge of cargo clearance permit declaration a plus
