We are looking for an energetic and proactive Talent Acquisition / Recruiter to join our HR team. You will be responsible for managing recruitment activities and supporting the company in attracting and hiring suitable talent.

Location: Batu Kawan, Penang

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination and offer preparation.
• Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, career fairs, universities and other recruitment channels.
• Conduct initial candidate screening and interviews to assess suitability.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Work closely with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
• Maintain and update candidate pipelines, recruitment trackers and hiring status.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Prepare job advertisements and manage postings across recruitment platforms.
• Support recruitment activities such as career fairs, campus recruitment and employee referral programs.
• Assist with offer preparation, pre-employment documentation and onboarding coordination.
• Monitor recruitment effectiveness, including time-to-fill, hiring progress and sourcing channels.
• Perform other recruitment and HR-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in recruitment/talent acquisition is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with candidates and hiring managers.
• Proactive, responsible and able to handle multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Familiarity with job portals, LinkedIn and other candidate sourcing platforms will be an advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing recruitment will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Mandarin speaking ability is preferred to support communication with relevant stakeholders.
