Job Summary

Responsible for managing dealer warranty claims and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) submissions, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines, accurate documentation, and timely processing. The role also supports dealers on warranty procedures, conducts regular audits, monitors compliance, and prepares warranty performance reports.


Responsibilities

1. Warranty Claim Management

  • Evaluate, process, and approve dealer warranty claims in accordance with corporate warranty policies and guidelines.
  • Review claim documentation, supporting evidence, and repair information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify discrepancies or non-compliant claims and follow up with dealers for clarification or corrective action.
  • Provide guidance to dealers on warranty procedures, claim submission requirements, and related processes.

2. Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Management

  • Review and verify PDI reports submitted by dealers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with required standards.
  • Follow up on incomplete or inaccurate PDI submissions and coordinate with dealers to resolve issues.
  • Monitor PDI submission quality to ensure identified issues are properly addressed before vehicle delivery.

3. Dealer Support & Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for dealers on warranty and PDI-related matters.
  • Provide technical and procedural support to dealers on warranty operations and claim processes.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal departments and dealers to resolve warranty and PDI issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with dealer teams to ensure smooth warranty operations.

4. Warranty Audit & Compliance

  • Conduct regular warranty audits to monitor dealer compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify operational gaps, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Follow up on corrective action plans and monitor their implementation and effectiveness.
  • Ensure dealers maintain proper documentation and adhere to warranty operating standards.

5. Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly warranty tracking reports.
  • Analyse warranty claims, trends, dealer performance, and operational data to identify potential issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, PDI submissions, audit findings, and corrective actions.
  • Provide relevant warranty and PDI performance updates to management when required.


Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automotive, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in automotive aftersales, warranty operations, dealership operations, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of automotive warranty procedures and dealer operations.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with dealers and internal stakeholders.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review data and identify discrepancies or operational gaps.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable preparing and analysing reports.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and documentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
