Job Description

Falcon Coffees is a fast-growing green coffee company with an Asian regional office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Seoul, South Korea. Falcon was established in 2008 in the UK and now has offices in 8 countries across 4 continents. We are a purpose-driven company, supplying ethically sourced coffees to many of the world’s premium coffee brands.

We're a small, service based team, which means we need people willing to get their hands dirty and support the team across the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibility for the smooth operation of the Quality Control lab:

· Receive and log inbound samples

· Undertake physical analysis

· Sample roasting

· Prepare sensory sessions for the sales team (cupping)

· Fulfil client sample requests

· Provide feedback to shippers and suppliers

· Support the sales team with follow-up contact after samples are sent

· Provide clear and detailed sensory analysis of our specialty coffees

· Quick turnaround of sample requests for roasted and green coffee

· Falcon eCommerce packing and fulfilment

Candidate Requirements

· Fluent in English is a must, with good communication skills

· Efficient, with excellent organisational skills

· Must be detail-oriented

· Hard-working

· Passion for specialty coffee

· Some knowledge of coffee roasting is useful

· Q-Grader or CVA Cupper preferred, but not compulsory

· Passionate about customer service and quality standards

· Some experience with food handling and quality management is an advantage
