Position

The Retail Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of Singapore boutiques and from a regional perspective, ensure they adhere to company policies and local regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing operational efficiencies, managing inventory, overseeing vendor relationships, and providing operational support to boutique teams. This role requires strong operational expertise, and the ability to coordinate retail performance initiatives. This position will report into Retail Excellence Director, SEAA.

Main Responsibilities:

Regional Scope

Store Operation Excellence, Retail & Internal Controls Support

• Review and update SEAA operational guidelines to ensure operational excellence & consistency in stores
• In partnership with regional operations team, ensure all store operations comply with company policies, local legal requirements and anti-money laundering regulations
• Proactively identify gaps in knowledge of the back of house operations, systems, tools etc and align training needs with markets
• Support the rollout of retail performance and operational projects at both local and SEAA
• Coordinate retail performance initiatives to drive sales and enhance customer experience with support of local operation team
• Manage inventory flows while considering local market demands, including stock deliveries, transfers, and shrinkage rate control
• Align inventory policies with regional operations team

Local Scope – Singapore only

Store Operation Excellence, Training, Retail & Internal Controls Support

• Conduct frequent boutique visits to ensure compliance with company guidelines, regional operations standards, and local government policies
• Provide training to local boutique teams on systems, procedures, and POS operations
• Supervise Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) layouts to enhance efficiency and customer experience
• Coordinate and oversee stock audits, including cycle counts and annual stock-takes
• Manage the order & inventory of non-merchandise materials (e.g., packaging, store necessities, uniforms) to ensure timely replenishment & optimum usage
• Operate and supervise the POS system, ensuring accurate processing of stock transfers, payments, inquiries, and client data management
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements for stock movement (CITES Certification, Imports, Exports).
• Manage commission & retail incentive calculation & review for payroll processing

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in store operations, with prior luxury retail experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, stock management, and operational procedures.
• Familiarity with assigned markets legal requirements, including anti-money laundering standards and import/export regulations
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and oversee budgetary responsibilities
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Willingness to travel to boutiques for operational assessments
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the team
• Proficient in MS Office; especially Excel and Power Point
