Professional Job Description

The UX Researcher will be responsible for understanding user needs, behaviours, motivations, and pain points and translating research findings into actionable recommendations for digital products and services. The successful candidate will work closely with UX/UI designers, product teams, developers, and clients to ensure that user insights are incorporated into product and experience design decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct UX research projects from research objectives through to final recommendations.

Conduct user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and observational research.

Identify user needs, behaviours, motivations, pain points, and expectations.

Apply qualitative and quantitative research methods where appropriate.

Analyse and synthesise research findings into clear, actionable insights.

Develop user personas, customer journey maps, user flows, and research reports.

Work closely with UX/UI designers, product designers, developers, and project teams.

Translate research findings into practical product and design recommendations.

Present research findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Support usability testing and validation of prototypes and new product concepts.

Contribute to UX strategy and continuous product improvement.

Maintain research documentation and ensure findings are clearly communicated to stakeholders.

Stay updated on UX research methodologies, digital-product trends, and industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Sociology, Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related discipline.

1–3 years of experience in UX Research, User Research, Design Research, or a related field is preferred.

Fresh graduates with relevant internships, academic projects, or UX research portfolios may also be considered.

Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative UX research methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Comfortable conducting interviews, usability tests, and discussions with users.

Ability to translate research data into clear and actionable insights.

Familiarity with tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, Google Forms, or similar research/design platforms.

Strong UX research portfolio demonstrating research methodology, findings, and recommendations.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with designers, developers, product teams, and clients.

Good command of English.

Pay: $3,100.00 - $4,800.00 per month
