Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network, server, cloud, and security infrastructure.
• Lead technical delivery for infrastructure migration, cloud adoption, cybersecurity, network refresh, and system upgrade projects.
• Provide senior-level escalation support for complex technical incidents and performance issues.
• Manage and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, virtualisation, backup, and endpoint environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot enterprise networking including switching, routing, VLAN, VPN, wireless, firewall, and network security.
• Implement and support cybersecurity solutions including firewall, endpoint security, identity security, MFA, vulnerability management, SIEM, monitoring, and security hardening.
• Perform technical assessment, solution design, implementation planning, testing, migration, and project handover.
• Produce technical documentation including HLD, LLD, implementation plans, MOPs, diagrams, configuration records, and as-built documentation.
• Engage customers to understand technical requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, and provide professional technical advice.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across support and project activities.
• Work closely with sales, presales, vendors, and project teams on solution design and implementation.

Core Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in several of the following areas is expected:

• Networking: Routing, Switching, VLAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, Firewall
• Server: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
• Virtualisation: VMware, Hyper-V or equivalent platforms
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
• Microsoft Cloud: Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview
• Cybersecurity: NGFW, EDR/XDR, SIEM, IAM, MFA, Security Monitoring, Hardening
• Backup & DR: Enterprise backup, replication, disaster recovery
• Monitoring: Infrastructure and security monitoring platforms
• Infrastructure: Storage, NAS/SAN, server hardware and related enterprise technologies

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Typically 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience, with strong exposure to enterprise or customer environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, cloud, network, or cybersecurity projects.
• Able to independently lead technical implementation and resolve complex issues.
• Strong customer communication and technical documentation skills.
• Experience in a System Integrator, MSP, MSSP, or IT services environment is highly preferred.
• Able to mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership.

Relevant certifications will be advantageous, including:

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
