Job Title: Assistant Process Manager
Department: Production / Process Engineering
Job Overview
Responsible for overseeing on‑site process management, improving production efficiency, ensuring process compliance, and supporting continuous improvement across all production stages.
Key ResponsibilitiesOn‑Site Process Management
- Approve process documents and functional work instructions.
- Supervise workshops and departments in implementing process standards.
- Improve process capability across production stages.
- Analyze and enhance production efficiency.
- Participate in process discipline inspections.
- Support equipment acceptance focusing on process capability and efficiency.
- Handle major and urgent process abnormalities.
- Lead workshop standardization work.
- Evaluate supplier changes related to raw/auxiliary materials.
- Promote shared management of production, quality, and technical information.
- Review and manage slow‑moving inventory.
- Propose handling plans for returned products, defective items, and B‑grade products.
Performance Management
- Review departmental structure and job allocation.
- Review departmental functions and job descriptions.
- Review monthly performance evaluations.
- Oversee performance improvement plans.
6S & Safety Management
- Establish workshop 6S and safety systems.
- Conduct regular inspections.
- Ensure timely rectification of non‑compliance and safety hazards.
Personnel & Training Management
- Lead workforce planning and position structuring.
- Promote corporate culture and employee awareness.
- Build departmental talent pipeline.
- Guide training plans, onboarding, and skill evaluations.
- Allocate manpower based on workload.
- Propose staffing needs and manage departmental personnel.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; Chemical Engineering or Electrochemistry preferred.
- Minimum 5 years industry experience.
- Experience introducing ≥5 new products or processes.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
