HIRING – SENIOR R&D EXECUTIVE

Bidor Kwong Heng is a leading food manufacturing company specializing in Asian sauces and condiments.

The company manufactures a wide range of products including:

• Soy Sauce
• Bean Paste
• Oyster Sauce
• Chilli Sauce
• Plum Sauce
• Hoisin Sauce
• Black Pepper Sauce
• Other Convenience & Cooking Sauces

The company’s products are marketed under brands including Angel and Tian Nu.

We are looking for an experienced R&D professional to support new product development, product improvement and formulation activities within our food manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and improve food products and formulations
• Conduct product trials, testing and evaluation
• Research new ingredients, formulations and food technologies
• Conduct sensory evaluation and product quality assessments
• Work closely with Production, QA/QC and other departments during product development
• Conduct product stability and shelf-life studies
• Prepare R&D documentation, specifications and reports
• Troubleshoot formulation and production-related issues
• Support the commercialization and scale-up of new products
• Ensure developed products meet quality, food safety and regulatory requirements

REQUIREMENTS

IMPORTANT: Candidates with R&D experience in the FOOD MANUFACTURING are strongly preferred

• Diploma / Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Applied Science or related field
• Relevant experience in R&D / New Product Development within the food industry
• Experience in sauce, seasoning, condiment or similar food products will be an added advantage
• Good knowledge of food formulation, ingredients and product development processes
• Experience in product trials, testing and sensory evaluation
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work closely with Production and QA/QC teams
• Candidates with relevant food manufacturing R&D experience are highly encouraged to apply
