Support Key Account Managers in maintaining strong customer relationships and enhancing business engagement and performance.
Provide internal sales support to capture ad hoc business opportunities through existing sales channels.
Manage daily order processing activities, including order receipt, sales order maintenance, and preparation of basic RFQs, consulting Account Managers when required.
Utilize ERP systems such as QAD, SAP, or Oracle for order management and customer support functions.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and invoicing matters.
Ensure the accurate recording and maintenance of customer, product, batch number, and specification information.
Coordinate closely with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery to customers.
Maintain proactive communication with both customers and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations.
Coordinate and follow up on customer complaints, working with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively while supporting business objectives and management initiatives.
Develop a solid understanding of the company's products and services to address customer enquiries efficiently.
Provide regular updates and feedback to the Sales team regarding customer requirements, order status, and market insights.
Maintain a professional, organized, and safe office environment in line with company housekeeping standards.
Requirements
Degree
3+ years of experience in customer service or a related role, preferably within the chemical industry
Excellent communication and time management
Capable of managing multiple accounts and handling escalated cases simultaneously
Comfortable with
occasional overtime and short period business travel
as needed
