Our client is a Global FMCG leader with a strong and growing manufacturing presence across Asia. As the organization continues to invest in technology, capacity and operational excellence, they are looking for an exceptional engineering leader to shape its next chapter.

This is not a role where you simply deliver projects handed to you. You will have the opportunity to influence where the business invests, how manufacturing sites evolve and what the future of engineering looks like across the region.

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and inspire regional engineering team, creating an environment where strong technical talent can grow and succeed
• Shape the regional capital and engineering roadmap where investment can create the greatest the business impact
• Lead complex brownfield, expansion, automation and technology
• Partner with senior Plant & Supply Chain Leaders to determine how manufacturing sites should evolve for future growth
• Drive greater consistency in engineering standards, project execution and asset performance across the region
• Provide senior technical leadership when major engineering challenges arise
• Build engineering capability across the region and develop next generation of engineering leaders
• Influence the broader regional engineering strategy alongside senior regional and global stakeholders
  
  

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a proven engineering leader and you should bring:

• A degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience across project engineering management in the FMCG or Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
• Experience leading significant CAPEX programmes and multiple complex projects simultatneously
• Regional or multi site experience
• Commercial confidence to manage budgets, investment decisions and project trade offs
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
• Strong leadership presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders without relying on hierarchy.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
