ShipAny (*************) is the first smart logistics gateway for the e-commerce market and now serves over 10,000 e-commerce merchants in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. ShipAny one-stop logistics SaaS platform interconnects multiple e-commerce platforms to multiple logistics service providers with the capability to enhance and streamline logistics operations for e-commerce merchants, platforms and marketplaces which disrupts the manual logistics process and brings e-commerce to the new generation. Qualifications & experience

• Education: Sub-degree / Bachelor / Master / PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines. Sub-degree holders with a strong learning mentality and passion are also welcome.

• Languages & Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with teammates. Good command of written and spoken English. Basic fluency in Cantonese.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in any object-oriented programming language, Familiarity with web application development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with experience in modern UI frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular, Understanding of RESTful APIs and structured data formats (JSON, XML).

• Preferred Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL/NoSQL, Knowledge of cloud services like AWS/Alibaba Cloud, Expertise in RESTful API design and development, Familiarity with browser APIs and optimizing front-end performance, Backend server performance tuning and resource optimization.

• Soft Skills: Strong team player with eagerness to learn and share knowledge, Self-motivated and analytical, with problem-solving capabilities, Hardworking and able to think outside the box, Capable of working under pressure and independently, Passionate about software development and proactive in acquiring new technologies, Strong sense of ownership.

• Experience: A proven track record in SaaS platform technical development, preferably in the logistics, e-commerce, or related industries.

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the logistics and e-commerce industry, understanding of supply chain dynamics, and knowledge of common shipping challenges faced by online businesses.

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments, such as sales and customer support, to ensure a seamless delivery of functionality.

• Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet and exceed engineering targets, with a focus on driving company growth and expanding the user base.

• Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and be flexible in responding to changing market conditions and user requirements.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand user pain points and propose effective solutions using ShipAny's services.
  

Tasks & responsibilities

• Architect and build features for cloud software products, APIs, and administrative user interfaces.

• Assist in software testing and system deployment.

• Conduct design and code reviews.

• Prepare technical documentation for applications and system designs.

• Explore emerging technologies and techniques to achieve team goals.

• Tackle various engineering challenges and design optimal solutions.

• Build world-class products for the global market.

• Contribute to shaping and continuously improving the company's engineering processes and practices.
