What You’ll Do
- Financial Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and stabilize the Accounts & Credit teams (20 personnel).
- Build a high-performing, collaborative team culture and drive continuous professional development.
- Cash & Working Capital Management
- Drive optimization of Net Working Capital (NWC), DSO, DIO, and DPO to maximize cash flow and working capital returns.
- Oversee purchase-to-pay activities, and strengthen credit, collections and cash management strategies.
- Strategic Commercial Partnering
- Partner with senior management and business stakeholders to evaluate margins and commercial proposals for new and renewing principals.
- Provide data-driven financial insights and technical expertise to support strategic business decisions.
- Process Redesign & Transformation
- Lead finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, controls and scalability.
- Drive system consolidation and Accounts Receivable (AR) automation initiatives.
- Core Financial Control & Governance
- Ensure robust financial, management, corporate and compliance reporting in line with group and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and legal advisors.
- Principal & Customer Relations
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure effective inventory controls and system integrity.
- Drive key account management initiatives to ensure timely billing, accurate payments, and strong principal relationships.
- Taxation & Compliance
- Oversee corporate tax planning, transfer pricing, and GST controls.
- Ensure timely, accurate tax filings and effective resolution of IRAS queries.
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- CA / CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is required.
- 5-8 years of post-qualification commercial finance experience in a sizeable commercial environment or MNC.
- At least 3 years of experience in a direct people-management experience, preferably leading teams of up to 20 employees.
- Strong knowledge of corporate taxation, transfer pricing, cash flow optimization, risk management, and commercial contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen, resilience and mature problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Advantage To Have
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, FMCG, logistics or multi-principal distribution environments.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA FI/CO and advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
