About the role

Leads the customer development process in winning new business and is directly responsible for developing repeat business with previous and/or current customers. Manages customers' expectations regarding all aspects across complex full value stream projects and/or complex product commercialization projects, including setting expectations for challenges in developing products or test systems, project scope, schedule, budget, risks, deliverables, and any changes to the original proposal.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the customer development process in winning new business and develop repeat business with previous and/or current customers

• Proactively identify work packages or opportunities that should be work shared and work effectively with the Functional Manager to promote inter-design center project staffing model

• Manage customers' expectations regarding all aspects across complex full value stream projects and/or complex product commercialization projects

• Set expectations for challenges in developing products or test systems, project scope, schedule, budget, risks, deliverables, and changes to the original proposal

• Manage projects to successful financial execution with the goal of 100% conversion

• Utilize company business systems to accurately project revenue for both active projects and opportunities

• Effectively manage team resources and lead the program to successful execution

• Partner with the engineering team to identify solutions to meet the customer's needs

• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and third-party suppliers to ensure company designs are successfully introduced into production sites

• Develop future company leaders
