About the Role

We're looking for a Tax & Client Services Executive to manage Hong Kong profits tax compliance for a portfolio of business clients (B2B) — and to be one of the executives our clients actually trust in our growing Customer Success team.

Our clients are mostly overseas founders and companies operating in Hong Kong. They're smart people who don't know the local rules, which makes this more interesting than standard compliance work: you're not just filing returns, you're explaining a system from scratch to people meeting it for the first time. Good technical work and good communication are important. This is a stable, long-term position. No cold calling. Every client already works with us.

Key responsibilities

• End-to-end Hong Kong profits tax compliance for a portfolio of clients, including tax returns and supporting schedules.

• Managing the filing calendar and keeping clients ahead of deadlines.

• Identifying available deductions, allowances and reliefs, and advising clients on legitimate ways to manage their tax position

• Working directly with our internal Accounting Team, who are there to support you on technical questions.

• Liaising, from time to time, between clients, government authorities and financial institutions.

• Represent *************'s values and brand with a friendly, professional tone in all customer interactions.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Business Adminstration, English or a related discipline

• At least 3 years' solid experience in tax compliance, accounting or advisory work

• Strong analytical skills and strong communication.

• Professional fluency or native-level proficiency in English and Cantonese. You'll be explaining technical points to non-specialists after training.

• HKICPA membership or registered student status is a plus.
