Jabil is Hiring: Industrial Engineering (IE) Technician | Penang, Malaysia

Are you detail-oriented and interested in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement? Join Jabil and support our Industrial Engineering team in optimizing production processes, layouts, and systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Support line moves, production layout changes, and process changes.
• Update the Product-Process-Time Database (IEDB) as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Create and update production visuals to support manufacturing operations.
• Order, receive, and validate tooling and equipment.
• Support the standardization of Jabil processes across the site.
• Maintain accurate process data and support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow company procedures and security policies.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Understanding of Industrial Engineering tools, such as:
• Work measurement
• Process mapping
• Facilities and workstation design
• Strong attention to detail, especially when updating systems and data.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
