Job Responsibilities:
Support the day-to-day operations of the migrant worker dormitory and ensure the site remains safe, secure, clean and operational.
Conduct routine site patrols and inspections of resident rooms, common areas, facilities and other operational areas.
Support resident check-in/check-out, room and bed movements and maintain accurate resident records.
Attend to residents' enquiries, feedback and complaints, and escalate matters where necessary.
Monitor and enforce dormitory house rules, safety requirements and site procedures.
Monitor security and access control for residents, visitors, contractors, vehicles and deliveries.
Identify and report maintenance defects, safety hazards, cleanliness issues and other operational abnormalities, and follow up on rectification works.
Coordinate with security, housekeeping, maintenance personnel, contractors and other service providers on daily operational matters.
Conduct checks on housekeeping, sanitation, waste management, pest control and general environmental cleanliness
Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with the site's Emergency Response Plan (ERP)and established procedures.
Maintain accurate shift logs, inspection records, incident reports, checklists and other operational documentation.
Ensure proper shift handover and follow up on outstanding operational matters.
Support regulatory inspections, audits, emergency drills and other site activities as required.
Perform other reasonable operational duties assigned by the OIC or Management.
Requirements:
Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent qualification. Relevant working experience may also be considered.
Experience in dormitory operations, accommodation, facilities management, security, estate operations or other 24/7 operational environments would be advantageous.
Able to work independently and as part of an operations team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with residents from different backgrounds.
Able to handle operational issues and emergencies calmly and escalate matters appropriately.
Basic computer literacy and ability to prepare operational records and reports.
CERT, First Aid, fire-safety, WSH or other relevant emergency-response training would be advantageous.
