Job Summary

You will maintain and repair automated storage, refrigeration, and warehouse facilities to ensure safe, efficient operations supporting the cold chain supply.

Responsibilities

Perform repair and maintenance on Automated Storage Retrieval Systems (ASRS), refrigeration systems, and warehouse building infrastructure to ensure operational reliability

Conduct daily facility inspections to identify defects or potential issues and initiate corrective actions

Troubleshoot and repair cold room systems, equipment, machinery, building fixtures, and electrical works to maintain facility functionality

Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on materials handling equipment to minimize downtime

Maintain and repair Fire Detection Systems, Ammonia Plants, and Oxygen Reduction Systems to ensure safety compliance

Execute preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and complete assigned work orders (WO) following standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Monitor and oversee external contractors’ servicing and maintenance work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards

Collaborate effectively with maintenance team members to complete tasks safely and to high workmanship standards

Apply strong workplace safety awareness to comply with safety rules and safe work procedures during all maintenance activities

Adapt to working independently or as part of a team depending on assignment requirements

Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying equipment, climbing ladders, and working in cold environments to complete maintenance duties

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma, Higher NITEC, or NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or Air-Conditioning Refrigeration Engineering
