Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, coordination, and supervision of the ACMV system. This role requires strong technical competency, independent thinking, and problem-solving abilities to ensure successful project delivery. As a key member of our engineering team, you will gain exposure to local statutory requirements, industry standards, project management, equipment selection, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Involved in design development drawings and material submissions for approval, QA/ QC works such as inspection, testing & commissioning, and handover of installation.
Attend meetings and prepare reports for site progress and schedules. Coordinate the site safety management system.
Liaise and coordinate ACMV installations with the main contractor, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Supervise and monitor daily site work done, and plan for catch-up as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Open to fresh graduates as well as candidates with relevant working experience.
Position level and responsibilities will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
Experience in ACMV, chilled water system installation, and design will be an advantage.
Ability to perform basic engineering calculations with MS Excel.
Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with the main contractor and subcontractors.
Good understanding of engineering principles and drawings.
