We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Junior Baker to join our team at Doña Bakehouse. You will support our pastry and bakery production operations while ensuring the quality, consistency, and smooth preparation of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily pastry and bakery production according to recipes and SOPs.
• Prepare pastry creams, jams, desserts, cakes, assembled goods, pastries, and breads.
• Operate ovens and bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor baking time and temperature to ensure consistent product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and proper food-handling practices in the production area.
• Assist with packing customer orders and heating pastries according to SOP.
• Complete daily tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
• Support the team to maintain an efficient and positive working environment.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties related to bakery and pastry operations when required.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant bakery or pastry experience.
• Open to Malaysian citizens only.
• Basic knowledge of bakery and pastry production.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and committed to maintaining product quality.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
