Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support to our legal team. The successful candidate will assist with legal research, preparation and management of legal documents, case administration, client communication, and other duties as required.
Responsibilities
Assist lawyers in preparing, reviewing, and managing legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and other legal materials to support case progress
Organize, maintain, and update all case files and legal records to ensure accuracy and accessibility
Support court filings, monitor deadlines, and coordinate hearings and procedural requirements to meet legal timelines
Prepare order of events, case summaries, and relevant materials for meetings, negotiations, and hearings to facilitate informed decision-making
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and timely information exchange
Assist lawyers with due diligence, discovery processes, document review, and evidence organization to strengthen case preparation
Draft routine correspondence, emails, reports, and legal forms to support legal operations
Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive legal matters to uphold ethical standards
Perform general administrative and legal support duties as assigned to contribute to team efficiency
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field
Minimum one year of experience in a similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters, priorities, and deadlines effectively
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Ability to work independently while also being a reliable team member
