Act as the primary technical liaison with customers from project handover through NPI, customer approval, and mass production.
Lead and coordinate new projects, ensuring project timelines, quality, cost, and customer requirements are achieved.
Review customer drawings, specifications, BOM, and product requirements to assess manufacturing feasibility and technical requirements.
Coordinate tooling, process trials, sample submissions, product fitting, functional testing, and engineering changes.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Tooling, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and provide regular project status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including engineering drawings, ECN, BOM, submission documents, reports, and other manufacturing-related records.
Support NPI transfer, mass production readiness, and continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, reduce cycle time, and minimize rejection rates.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Polymer, Plastic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Engineering, NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, or related roles within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in SMT/PCBA, plastic injection moulding, assembly, electronics manufacturing, or related industries will be an advantage.
Good understanding of NPI and manufacturing processes, with the ability to evaluate technical and production requirements.
Able to read and understand engineering drawings, product specifications, BOM, and engineering documents is an advantage.
Strong project coordination, problem-solving, communication, analytical, and time-management skills.
Willing to work in Senai, Johor and able to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
