We are looking for a Technical Designer to join our team. This role requires strong coordination skills and design abilities, focusing on creating practical, sustainable, and creative spaces. You will be involved in all stages of projects, from meeting with clients to finalizing designs.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design Development: Use your knowledge of interior design and industry trends to create appealing and functional designs that meet regulations.
• Presentation Skills: Prepare and present layout plans, sketches, and 2D/3D models to clearly share your design concepts with clients.
• Project Coordination: Manage project timelines and work with the team to ensure everything is done on time and to a high standard.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with clients and team members to ensure smooth communication throughout the project.
• Technical Drawing: Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction and materials.
• Documentation: Keep clear records of project details, including meeting notes and progress updates.

Requirements

• With at least 3 years of work experience in an architecture or interior design studio.
• Strong communication, project management, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, knowledge in 3DSMax is an advantage
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.
• Strong creative and visualization skills.
• Language communication: English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM-6PM; may work some weekends due to construction progress
• Amenable to work in Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur
