Assembly Supervisor

The Assembly Supervisor oversees daily assembly line operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. They lead a team of operators and technicians, coordinate workflow, and act as the link between management and shop-floor staff.

Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight

• Supervise assembly line activities to meet production schedules and output targets.
• Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Quality Assurance

• Inspect assembly processes and finished products for compliance with quality standards.
• Implement corrective actions to address defects or process deviations.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to maintain ISO and industry certifications.

Team Leadership

• Train, coach, and motivate assembly staff to improve skills and productivity.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Promote teamwork and resolve conflicts on the shop floor.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure staff use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Conduct safety briefings and participate in audits.
• Report hazards and incidents to management promptly.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives.
• Recommend equipment upgrades or process changes to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in assembly or production, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of assembly processes, production planning, and quality systems.
• Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
