Retail Assistant – Motorcycle Parts & Accessories

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and responsible Retail Assistant to join our motorcycle parts and accessories store. You will assist customers in selecting the right products, maintain store presentation, manage inventory, and support daily retail operations. Product knowledge will be provided, but a passion for motorcycles and willingness to learn are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with motorcycle parts, batteries, lubricants, tyres, helmets, and riding accessories.

• Recommend suitable products based on the customer’s motorcycle model and requirements.

• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.

• Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly and correctly priced.

• Check inventory levels and report low stock to the supervisor.

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming stock.

• Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

• Assist with stock counts and inventory audits.

• Support online order packing and order fulfillment when required.

• Handle customer inquiries, exchanges, and warranty claims according to company policy.

• Achieve individual and team sales targets.

• Follow company procedures and maintain a high standard of customer service.

Requirements

• SPM or equivalent qualification.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage.

• Knowledge of motorcycles, spare parts, or accessories is preferred but not required.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer skills.

• Able to work weekends and public holidays when scheduled.
