Position: Procurement / Purchasing Executive
Department: Procurement / Purchasing Department

• Source and identify suitable suppliers, materials, and services.

• Request and compare quotations to obtain the best price, quality, availability, and delivery terms.

• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) accurately and on time.

• Follow up with suppliers on PO status, delivery dates, and outstanding orders.

• Coordinate with site/project teams to ensure materials are delivered according to requirements.

• Ensure all purchasing documents, including PR, quotations, PO, DO, and invoices, are complete and properly recorded.

• Verify that approved and signed POs are properly distributed and recorded.

• Follow up on delivery, documentation, and payment status.

• Maintain and update supplier information, price records, and purchasing records.

• Source alternative suppliers when necessary to avoid delays or over-dependence on one supplier.

• Handle urgent purchasing requirements and resolve supplier/delivery issues.

• Ensure all purchases comply with the Company’s Procurement SOP and approval procedures.

• Perform other procurement-related duties assigned by Management.

  Requirements

  • Experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in the construction industry.

  • Familiar with construction materials and supplier sourcing is an advantage.

  • Must be familiar with AutoCount.

  • Good negotiation and communication skills.

  • Able to compare quotations and control purchasing costs.

  • Good follow-up skills and able to work independently.

  • Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.

  • Able to handle multiple purchase requests and meet deadlines.
