Job Summary

Support quantity surveying and project operations by managing progress claims, assisting with measurements and technical drawings, and maintaining project documentation to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage progress claims to ensure accurate billing and cash flow
• Assist in taking off measurements for work completed on site to support project costing
• Submit claims and verify claim disputes both internally and externally to resolve discrepancies
• Assist in creating and modifying technical drawings using AutoCAD for project requirements
• Support tender bill of quantities (BQ) preparation and take off drawings for projects on an ad hoc basis
• Maintain and organize project documentation to support smooth operations
• Provide site teams with project information, including server-based drawings, to facilitate project execution

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a local construction firm
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD software
