What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Python (Django), built for high-availability and high-transaction environments.
• Integrate with third-party services including payment gateways, KYC providers, and banking APIs, ensuring reliable data flow, resilience, and proper error handling.
• Build and maintain systems that comply with financial security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Design and optimize database schemas to support high concurrency, low latency, and stable production performance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system health and rapid incident response in production.
• Maintain high code quality through structured code reviews, clean architecture, and thorough manual and automated testing.
• Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across development and production environments, particularly in time-sensitive fintech operations.
• Collaborate closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation covering system architecture, APIs, integration flows, and operational procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on backend or full-stack development. Experience in fintech, payments, or financial systems is highly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Django and modern Python development best practices.
• Familiarity with Django REST Framework, and asynchronous task processing (e.g. Celery) for background jobs and microservices is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Vue.js or React, along with HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, handling webhooks, and implementing secure authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments; experience with Apache, Gunicorn/uWSGI, CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
