This permanent role places you at the centre of software quality engineering - designing automation frameworks, driving continuous testing, and ensuring reliable, high-performing applications throughout the software development lifecycle.

Build, automate, deliver - here's what you'll be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Develop reusable automated test scripts for web applications and APIs using best practices in test data management and automation design
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define effective test strategies
• Execute automated test suites, analyse test results, and generate automation reports and dashboards to support quality metrics
• Identify, document, and communicate defects while working with development teams to ensure timely resolution
• Perform API automation testing using tools such as RestAssured and validate application functionality across multiple environments
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing automation coverage, testing processes, and quality engineering practices
  
  

A technically strong, quality-driven automation testing professional:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java)
• Strong programming skills in Java with experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Minimum 3 years of experience in API automation testing using RestAssured or similar tools
• Experience with testing tools such as BrowserStack, Postman, and JMeter
• Familiarity with database querying and validation techniques
• Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery methodologies
• Experience using Jira or similar test and defect management tools
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into comprehensive automated test scenarios
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams; exposure to the insurance industry is an advantage
