We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer todesign and deliver secure enterprise digital platforms for government and enterprise clients. The role covers end-to-end full-stack development, secure application delivery in Singapore Government environments and cloud-basedsolution development across Microsoft Azure and AWS. A key part of the role involves building and integrating production Generative AI and RAG-based capabilities into enterprise applications. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, government agencies and internal teams to translate business requirements into practical, maintainable software solutions.

Roles &Responsibilities

EnterpriseSoftware & Full-Stack Development

•  Design,develop and deliver secure enterprise web applications from solution designthrough deployment and production support.

•  Develop backend services, APIs, databases and modern frontend applications.

•  Contribute to system architecture, technical design, integration and continuous improvement, following automated testing, code review, CI/CD, and DevSecOpspractices.

•  Lead technical solution delivery and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on indevelopment.

Secure Government & EnterpriseSolutions

•  Deliver secure digital solutions for government and enterprise clients.

•  Apply security and compliance requirements throughout the software developmentlifecycle, including secure coding, authentication and authorization, access control and data protection.

•  Support security assessments, audits and remediation activities.

Cloud & Solution Architecture

•  Design,develop, deploy, and support cloud-based solutions across Microsoft Azure and AWS.

•  Work with cloud-native, containerized, serverless, event-driven, and distributed application architectures.

•  Integrate enterprise systems and cloud services to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

Production Generative AI

•  Build and integrate production Generative AI and RAG-based capabilities into enterprise applications.

•  Develop AI-powered solutions such as intelligent document processing and enterprise knowledge applications.

•  Contribute to the quality, reliability and continuous improvement of AI-enabled applications.

Stakeholder Engagement

•  Engage with clients, government agencies and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define suitable technical solutions.

•  Participatein solution discussions, demonstrations, technical presentations, and requirement clarification.

•  Translate business needs into practical and maintainable software solutions.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

•  At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience delivering enterprise web applications and software solutions end-to-end, using technologies such as C#/.NET/ASP.NET Core and/or Python/FastAPI.

•  Experience delivering enterprise software solutions for Singapore Government agencies or government-related organizations.

•  Working experience with Singapore Government security and compliance requirements,including IM8-related requirements, secure application development,authentication and authorization, access control, data protection, and security audit remediation.

•  Strong hands-on experience in Azure and/or AWS, with the ability to work acrossmulti-cloud environments.

•  Experience building and delivering production Generative AI solutions — such as enterprise search, document intelligence, knowledge assistants, workflow automation, oragent-based applications — including practices such as AI evaluation, retrieval optimization and responsible AI considerations.

•  Professional frontend development experience using modern frameworks such as Vue 3, Nuxt,Angular or equivalent technologies.

•  Experience leading small engineering teams, mentoring engineers or owning technicalsolutions end-to-end.

Preferred Requirements

•  Relevant cloud, AI, or architecture certifications such as Microsoft Azure DeveloperAssociate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, Databricks Certified Generative AIEngineer Associate, AWS certifications, or equivalent qualifications.

•  Experience with Generative AI platforms and tools such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI,AWS Bedrock, LlamaIndex, LangChain, Azure AI Search, or Microsoft CopilotStudio.

•  Experience with containerization, serverless technologies and CI/CD platforms such as Docker, Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, Azure DevOps or GitLab CI/CD.

•  Experience delivering enterprise solutions across sectors such as logistics, e-commerce, education or other regulated environments.
