About the role

A Commis Chef position in a commercial kitchen environment. This role is suitable for fresh graduates, kitchen helpers seeking career advancement, or candidates with basic cooking experience who want to develop their culinary skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs in food preparation and cooking

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and SOPs

• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas and equipment

• Follow food safety procedures and kitchen regulations

• Support stock handling, storage, and stock rotation activities

• Assist during busy service periods and kitchen operations

• Carry out other duties assigned by the kitchen leadership team

About you

• Minimum SPM qualification

• Kitchen experience is an added advantage

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Good teamwork and positive attitude

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
