Job Summary:

MSR-GE, a leader in renewable energy (“RE”) infrastructure, is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support ongoing solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (“BESS”) projects. This internship is primarily design-focused, providing valuable exposure to office-based engineering coordination, drafting, and documentation.

 While the role is HQ-based, interns may occasionally join site visits or inspections if required, offering a broader understanding of large-scale RE and infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for undergraduates eager to gain practical design experience and develop professional skills in the RE sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing civil/structural drawings, site layouts, and technical documentation

• Support design coordination for earthworks, access roads, foundations, and drainage systems

• Contribute to design reports, calculations, and compliance checks under the guidance of senior engineers

• Assist in project documentation, progress reporting, and design package organisation

• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external consultants for smooth project execution

• Provide support for feasibility studies, site assessments, and data collection for new projects

• Participate in occasional site visits or inspections (if required) to gain exposure to real-world construction activities

About You

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• Strong academic foundation in civil / structural design and construction principles

• Familiarity with AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D or other design software is an advantage

• Willingness to occasionally travel to project sites, if required

• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

• A keen interest in design engineering and RE infrastructure development
