Key responsibilities

• Operating the till and processing customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Handling cash, card payments and other payment methods with precision and honesty
• Scanning items, calculating totals and issuing receipts to customers
• Maintaining a clean and organised checkout area at all times
• Greeting customers with a friendly demeanor and providing helpful, courteous service
• Assisting customers with queries regarding products, prices and promotions
• Following company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security protocols
• Balancing the till at the end of each shift and reporting any discrepancies
• Restocking shelves and tidying the checkout area as required
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth store operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a Cashier or in a retail environment
• Strong numeracy skills and accuracy when handling cash and transactions
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
• Honesty, reliability and a professional attitude towards work
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
• A positive approach to problem-solving and willingness to assist colleagues
• Flexibility to work varying shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
