Job Summary

Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering product questions, and assisting with purchases. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process payments, manage stock levels by restocking shelves and unpacking deliveries, and maintain store cleanliness and attractive displays.

Responsibilities

• Greet shoppers warmly and respond accurately to product questions to enhance customer experience
• Process cash and card payments efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure smooth transactions
• Restock shelves and check inventory levels regularly to maintain product availability
• Unpack new deliveries and organize stock to support inventory management
• Clean store aisles and arrange items neatly to maintain a safe and inviting shopping environment
• Create attractive product displays to engage customers and promote sales

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrate a friendly personality to build rapport with customers
• Apply basic math skills to handle transactions accurately
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members to facilitate effective service
• Prior customer service experience is advantageous but not required
