We are an established Interior Design and Renovation company seeking committed and experienced individuals to join our team for ongoing and upcoming projects in Johor Bahru.

1. Project Manager – Interior Design

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years experience in interior design, interior fit-out, renovation, or construction project management.

Strong leadership, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Capable of managing multiple projects and coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Loyal, punctual, disciplined, and responsible in performing duties.

Must possess own vehicle and be willing to travel to project sites when required.

No Work From Home (WFH) arrangement.

Lack of credibility, dishonesty, or misconduct may result in immediate termination.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage overall project activities to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on technical and site issues.

Review and approve project plans, method statements, and schedules.

Monitor site progress, manpower allocation, and material utilization.

Conduct and attend client/consultant meetings and site inspections.

Coordinate with Contracts Department and GM on cost control, claims, and contractual matters.

Review and endorse Variation Order (V.O.) proposals and ensure proper submission.

Ensure site operations comply with safety, quality, and client requirements.

Supervise, mentor, and guide Site Supervisors and QA/QC staff.

Documentation Responsibilities:

Project Work Schedule & Master Plan

Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports

RFI (Request for Information) Records

VO (Variation Order) and Claim Documents

Site Meeting Minutes

Safety & Quality Compliance Reports

Work Progress and Completion Photos

Working Hours & Attendance:

6 working days per week (Monday to Saturday).

Saturday: Half-day.

Total: 45 hours per week.

No overtime entitlement for this senior position.

When assigned to site, employee is required to work at the assigned project site.

When there is no site assignment, employee is required to attend and work at the office during standard working hours.

No Work From Home (WFH) arrangement.

Employees are expected to plan their travel accordingly and maintain punctual attendance at the assigned site or office.

Vehicle Maintenance & Allowance Terms:

Staff are required to provide official workshop invoices for vehicle servicing.

Company will bear 50% of the cost for normal servicing, battery, and tyre repairs.

Major repairs (engine repairs or repairs exceeding RM1,500) are not covered by the company.

Fuel & Toll:

A Shell Petrol Card will be provided for official project-related usage only.

Toll claims must be supported by official transaction statements.

Touch 'n Go reload/top-up receipts are not claimable.

Additional Information:

Candidates must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
