About us

Koon Seng Engineering & Construction is a Singapore M&E specialist contractor in plumbing & sanitary, automatic irrigation, and rainwater harvesting systems.

The role

You will handle the commercial side of P&S, irrigation and RWH packages: measurement, progress claims, supplier and subcontractor negotiation, variations, and cost control. You report to the Head of QS directly and work daily with project managers and Accounts.

What you will do

• Take off quantities from M&E drawings for P&S, irrigation and RWH works
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims; track claimed vs certified
• Issue RFQs, compare quotations, and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare and assess variation orders with proper substantiation
• Maintain project cost trackers and material reconciliation
• Support subcontract award, back-charges and final accounts
• Work with Accounts on DO-to-invoice verification and payment certification

What we are looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or related
• 1–3 years' QS experience. M&E or P&S exposure is an advantage; strong fresh graduates will be considered
• Able to read M&E drawings and specifications
• Solid Excel. Google Sheets, AutoCAD or Bluebeam is a plus
