Mall Operations Executive

Location: Penang
Salary: RM3,300 – RM4,000
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

Our client is looking for a Mall Operations Executive to support the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of a well-established shopping mall in Penang.

This is a hands-on role involving regular interaction with F&B and retail tenants, customers, contractors, suppliers, and service providers. You will play an important role in maintaining the mall's operational standards, cleanliness, safety, and overall tenant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain good and responsive communication with mall tenants, including F&B and retail operators.
• Handle tenant enquiries, complaints, and operational issues, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.
• Conduct regular inspections of the mall's interior and exterior areas and follow up on identified issues.
• Ensure tenants comply with mall operating procedures, cleanliness policies, and operational guidelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor the use of common areas and shopfront corridors by tenants.
• Manage tenant delivery schedules and loading bay arrangements.
• Follow up on recurring tenant violations and escalate issues to management when required.
• Support initiatives related to waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable mall operations.
• Ensure operational practices comply with quality, safety, health, environmental, and PDPA requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or related fields.
• Experience in F&B, retail, hospitality, shopping mall, property management, or customer-facing operations is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational matters.
