Job Summary

We are looking for a System Engineer to provide technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise IT systems and infrastructure. The role will focus on Linux/Unix, Windows, Active Directory, networking, system troubleshooting, and user support. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for Windows and Linux/Unix systems.
• Troubleshoot OS, hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.
• Perform basic Linux/Unix system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support Active Directory including user accounts, permissions, password resets, and domain-related issues.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN, VPN, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and infrastructure health.
• Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through ticketing systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6 months – 2 years of experience in System Administration, IT Support, Technical Support, or Infrastructure Support.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory is preferred.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, VPN, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with ticketing/ITSM systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of backup/recovery and cloud technologies is an added advantage.
