Experience Level: Mid-Level (approx. 3–5 years relevant experience)

MSUK Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is looking for an Application Support Developer to be deployed on-site at a leading global semiconductor company in Batu Berendam, Melaka, as part of our application support delivery team. You will work closely with business users, vendors, and technical teams to keep business-critical applications running smoothly and to support ongoing enhancements.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and application errors reported by end-users, covering both client and server-side issues
• Perform code maintenance and quality assurance activities: script development, code review, testing, troubleshooting, piloting, and post-rollout maintenance
• Support project development including application integration via API, functionality testing, performance benchmarking, installation, and deployment
• Work closely with the application owner and project team to deliver solutions within scope, budget, and timeline, including participating in deployment and release
• Perform requirement analysis and feasibility studies for new change requests
• Write and maintain application documentation such as functional specs, use cases, and user onboarding guides

Requirements

• Experience with collaboration platforms such as Jira/Azure DevOps and Confluence preferred
• Proficient in Java, Python, React, and JavaScript
• Experience in REST API development and application servers such as Apache Tomcat or IIS
• Knowledge of OpenShift Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and Docker containerization is an added advantage
• Knowledge of CI/CD for continuous integration and deployment
• Familiarity with source control tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, or SVN
• Knowledge of databases such as Oracle SQL and Microsoft SQL, with familiarity in PL/SQL
• Exposure to AI tools/frameworks such as OpenAI APIs (GPT/ChatGPT) or Claude is an added advantage
• Experience in software testing methodologies and debugging techniques
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify and remove impediments
• Fluent in English

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
